I am 32 and have been a heavy drinker since turning 17. By heavy I mean 5 to 10 drinks per day usually whiskey... I just found out my blood pressure is 160/110 fairly consistantly. My question is should I quit drinking completely or only have a glass of wine a day (I love all the reds). I don't know if I would benefit from the 1 drink a day rule if I am already so damaged from the years.
