I have pain in my neck and it affects my blood pressure. Is there anything in my neck that could cause my blood pressure to spike?
Hi please help me:
Pain itself causes increased blood pressure. So that may be why you are having elevated blood pressures. In the neck region, your carotid arteries are located. If there is narrowing of blood vessels that can cause increase in blood pressure also.
I recommend you visiting with your physician to further assess your blood pressure and pain. There are several tests that can be done to find out which of these issue might be causing the problem.
