I am an avid cyclist and lately after my rides I feel dizzy and my BP is much lower than the start. Example: today pre-ride BP was 128/79 pulse 66. Post ride BP was 96/59 pulse 105. I had a heart attack Jan 08. Should I consult my cadriologist?

Hi BR,

Yes, I recommend consulting your physician.  It may be your dizziness is caused by your low blood pressure post workout.  Another possibility is low blood sugar resulting in dizziness.  Assess your pre-workout snack and make sure it's a good balance of protein/carbohydrate.  If your workouts are long duration, you may need a mid-workout snack as well.

All the best,
