What can I do to fight and overcome the constant drowsiness I feel when on BP meds?

My doctor has tried me on every available class of BP meds, and the fatigue and "fuzzy-headed" factors have been more or less the same with every med.  Right now I'm on Tekturna 150 mg, which works well, but still causes fatigue.  It's affecting my ability to do my job and function normally, which is very frustrating.  All I want to do is sleep most of the time.  My life is fairly normal, and I don't have anything going on, other than being on BP med, that is causing undue stress or depression.

I am also taking Tekturna, and a good deal more. I do not find Tekturna fatiguing; it causes some dizziness, so I started taking it before I go to bed.  Most of the side effects are associated with the build up in your bloodstream, but the drug actually works by accumulating in your tissues. So the daily dose is really a maintenance dose. Try that--hopefully most of your side effects will happen while you sleep.
