Q: sudden onset of itchy rash on hands,burning sensation,feeling dizzy & tired

have been taking blood pressure tablets for just over 2 years,this is the second time this has happened in that time..Antihistamine prescribed by pharmacist & rash disappears..what seems to cause this?

Hi Lilacmoonlite,

 

It does sound like you are having an allergic reaction.  However, since you have only experienced this twice in the two years you've been taking your blood pressure medication it's unlikely the allergic reaction is due to the medication.  I recommend working with your physician to determine what is causing the rash and additional symptoms.
