Q: What is the relationship between AtacandHct and diabetes?

I'm type 2 diabetic,diagnosed after taking Atacand HCT 16/12.5 mg. for several years. I just turned 65.

Hi Jersey Girl,

Hyperglycemia (elevated blood sugar) is one of the more rare side effects of atacand.
