Q: blood pressure med thin blood

Does blood pressure medications thin your blood

We have to stop all blood thinners for 5 days, is high blood pressure medication a blood thinner

Sometimes warfarin (Coumadin) or other blood thinners are used in conjuction with blood pressure medications to control high blood pressure. I recommend contacting your physician to determine if you are on any blood thinning medications that need to be temporarily discontinued.
