Q: Is there any correlation between one's pulse rate and one's blood pressure?

I sometimes get blood pressure readings above the upper limit of "normal" blood pressure of 140/80. Readings like 150/90. BUT this is only when my pulse rate is low (for me) - about 67 - 70. I am reasonably fit. If my pulse is about 85 - 90 after moderate exercise, my blood pressure is typically 135/85. Occasionally 120/79! I use a Microlife digital blood pressure meter and follow its instructions faithfully.

 

Is this a machine problem, or is it me??

i have the same problem and am looking for an answer , sure hate to have to get a pacemaker
