Topics:Peripheral Artery Disease

This is regarding peripheral artery disease - my mother is 90, has pain in both legs, takes Plavix, has now sometimes numbness in foot when walking.

Is surgical intervention considered ( stent in the artery?)  at this age?

What treatment is recommended?

Thank you,

Liliana
