Q: Will my neurotransmitters return to normal after an Ishemic stroke, and are there drugs to speed up the process?

Suffered ischemic stroke this past January and I still have disorientation and balance issues and brain fog. Take Lisinopril, Zocor, Aspirin, and a Multi-Vitamin daily. The brain fog is my concern. Doc wanted me to take Ritalin but I refused due to it's bad press. Are there any other drugs which may speed-up my recovery?

Hi Lee,

I found this Q&A discussing neurotransmitters:

If you scroll down the messages you'll find a couple different website references provided for information on fixing/improving neurotransmitter levels. Maybe you'll be able to find an solution to help your situation.
