Diurectic blood pressure med prescribed. Diurectic given up. Harm?

My sister was prescribed blood pressure meds with diurectics by physician. Because she doesn't want to go to bathroom she has given up the diurectic. She checks her blood pressure and says its normal but hasn't told her physician that she is not taking the diurectic. Is there any...
