  robby,   Thanks for your question.  Yes, a person can have a heart attack with normal blood pressure.  High blood pressure is a significant risk to developing heart disease, but many people have heart problems without this risk factor.    In the acute phase of a heart attack, blood pressure can be low, high, or normal.  If you have concerns about yourself and the possibility of having a heart problem, make an appointment with your physician to have an evaluation and possibly testing to be sure everything is OK.    I hope this has been helpful.   Martin Cane, M.D.
