Hi Lisa, Decreased libido is a rare but potential side effect that can occur from lotensin therapy. Did your husband just start taking this mediation? If so, it is more likely that the medication is causing this effect than if he has been taking lotension for awhile. Your husband should continue to take this medication, but I would recommend that he talk to his physican, as there are many medications that are available to help lower blood pressure.
