since my RX insurance no longer covers the Felodipine Cr my husband takes- what would be a good alte

Thanks for your posted question.  Felodipine Cr is a long acting blood pressure medication in a class of drug called calcium channel blockers.  There are several different medications within this class.  You need to discuss this change with your husband's physician.  If possible, provide him with a list of medications that are covered under the formulary of his insurance company.  Knowing your husband's history and response to medication, his physician is best qualified to make any changes.  I hope this information has been helpful.
