Q: Fluctuating Blood Pressure (Orthostatic Syndrome)

 

My blood pressure fluctuates anyhow.  It can go up to a record high of 170/103 especilly towards the evening and at night to a record low of 88/62 in the morning and during daytime.  I am on lisnopril and the smallest doses(2.5mg) send the bp plummeting.  Early morning hours (2.00 am - 5.00 am) are my worst nightmares because that is when the blood pressure goes up to uncomfortable levels when I am fast asleep and I wake up suddenly.  My doctor says I have orthostatic syndrome or labile bp.  Anyone experiencing this and/or with a solution?  I am desperate.
