Thanks Yarda for posting your question.  It woudl be really hard to say if the reason for your weight gain is the medications you are taking.  I'm sure your doctor has offered some thoughts on this - I would be curious what he has to say about it.  You also could consult your pharmacist who could help with side effects and interactions between medications.   In the meantime, you may want to take a look at our drug information section to review the precautions and side effects of the medications you are on.  As well, staying fit and eating right are also important in controlling BP and weight.  Take a look at our Lifestyle Choices section for help with diet and exercise for healthy living.   Hope this helps and all the best, sue
