my bp is 215 over 106 , pulse 64 / i'm on 40 prinivil 2xdaily , but have missed 1 dose daily for the last 2 day or so. was on 10 mg of norvasc 2xdaily but quit about a month ago, so i just took 10mg norvasc to try and get my bp down. how long should it take to get my bp down? 1/2 hr , 1hr ? been under a ton of stress , thks , billo

Hi Billo,
I recommend you contact your physician instead of 'experimenting' with your different medications to see what will bring it back down. I'd call your doctors office (the likely have a physician on call this weekend) that can answer your questions and outline a plan to get your blood pressure back within normal.
