I am 17 years old. specially during summer I feel that my heart beat has increased. When I checked my blood pressure few weeks ago it was 140/90. My palms and feet sweat continuously. Should this be considered as a problem? If so what can I do? I am doing my grade 12 and I don't myself to get less percentage as I had been a high achiever all the time. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

Hi Praneetha,

Yes, it's possible to have high blood pressure and a migraine.  A blood pressure of 140/90 is elevated.  I encourage you to discuss your situation with your parents/guardian and set up an appointment with your physician to be evaluated.

All teh best,
