Hello I'm 25 weeks and 5 days pregnant today and i had my blood pressure checked yesterday and it was 150/60, i was wondering if this is normal? I was diagonised with hypernemesis graviduim at about 8 weeks, at about 12 weeks I had to be admitted to hopital for 6 days.  every now and then i still can not hold fluids down like water or Gatorade. At times I feel like my body is shaking but it is not, and somtimes my head feels like it is spining so i have to sit still until that feeling goes away before i do anything. I also get really bad migranes that are so bad I do not feel like being at work or dealing with anybody or anything. I hope you can help me with some answers. Because I don't know what to do about how i feel sometimes. sometimes i want to go to hospital but i don't want to be germatatic or anything. My husband thinks being pregnant is so easy, but with my other two pregnancies i didn't have any problems. SO I'm so confused about why i feel this way.

Hi Pregnant Mommy,

Congratulations on baby number 3!!  A blood pressure of 150/60 is elevated.  Your blood pressure needs to stay below 140/90 and ideally less than 120/80.  I recommend you consult with your physician to see if you warrant closer blood pressure monitoring.  If your blood pressure is frequently elevated it may be the reason for the other symptoms and may require treatment.

All the best,
