can coreg cause muscular pain, spasms affecting walking

i am 67 yrs old and have hx of polio w post polio syndrome. also have had five coronary events withinsertion of two stents. hx of chf progressively getting worse this past year. taken off lopressor and started on coreg in june 2008. since being on coreg have noticed increased difficulty walking with pain in feet and left hip. it is not circulatory pain but muscular. after few minutes rest can walk again for short distance. i thought i read once that coreg could cause muscle spasms but unable to find it listed as a side effect now. can the drug do this.
