My blood pressure is normally on the low end of normal and is now on the high end is this normal?

Kaybee

My blood pressure is normally 100/60 to 110/70. I feel swollen and dizzy, so I checked my blood pressure and it is 129/81. Should I be concerned?

Hi Kaybee,

I recommend you continue to monitor your blood pressure.  If it does not return to normal it's best to discuss the increase with your physician.  You're at a level where diet and lifestyle changes can usually bring your blood pressure back down to normal; however, contact your physician to make sure you've selected an appropriate treatment plan.

All the best,
