Q: Sudden extreme rise in blood pressure

My blood pressure had been staying controlled with HBP meds but suddenly, over the past two weeks, my blood pressure has been getting as high as 200/125 routinely by late afternoon and I have to take an extra blood pressure pill to get it back down. What could be causing this? I had quadruple by-pass surgery in 2005 and had 3 stents put in in 2008. I just have completed some heart tests, one being a chemical tread mill test, and nothing was found that needed immediate attention.
