Topics:High Blood Pressure

I have had problems the last 3-4 weeks with numbness on the left side of my head and feel almost like a stroke victim... Very emotional and can't seem to get a doctor to really act like they care... They just keep stringing me along and are waiting on test which I understand takes a while, but in the meantime I'm a wreck! Just last night I had a spell where I felt really funny and they checked my BP and it was 195/120 and the ER gave me blood pressure meds and told me to try to destress my life! That's hard considering what's going on with me and they don't know exactly what...I've had MRI's/CT scans, spinal tap etc... they didn't like what they saw on the MRI and are checking for MS also, but... I just need to know if high BP has ever caused numbness, loss of hearing, drawing and twitching on one side of your face (left side)... It does seem since I've been taking the BP meds that I'm not feeling all that fullness in my head and don't seem to be twitching and drawing as bad either.

I appreciate any help you can provide!
