Q: Can a sudden rise in pressure is accompanied by onset of double gout mean kidney problems?

BP was always 114/66

Sudden rise to 150/100 with severe gout in both feet.

Have mild pain in lower back too.

Could this mean kidney stones?

Hi NH,

Not necessarily a sign of kidney stones, but worth being evaluated by your physician. Your rise in blood pressure may be linked to the pain associated with the gout.

Again, I recommend discussing with your physician.
