Q: My 14 year old son's blood pressure

My 14 year old son's blood pressure fluctuates. He had a sports physical as was diagnosed that he has high blood pressure, 160/110. His blood pressure daily has been ranging from 128/70 to 158/69. He had blood work done and just waiting for results. This morning reading was 158/69. Any idea what's wrong?

Hi Momof2:

I am sorry to hear about your son having blood pressure concerns. I'm sure you must be very worried. I've listed a couple of links to give you more information on high blood pressure.  I hope you will have the tests back soon, so you know what the cause is and what you dealing with because then you can move forward and treat the problem.
