Q: bradycardia

I am 38 years old. I have been suffering from hypertension since 2004. After taking medicine Telista AM, my blood pressure is 120/80. My height is 5ft 9 inches and weight is 66 KG. When I sleep, my pulse rate is in between 54 to 60 and in normal time it is 60 to 72. Am I a patient of bradycardia. MY ECG, Echodoppler test are normal. I am not a diabetic. I have no other disease. Gudie me to increase my pulse rate or suggest me medical remedies.

Hi NK Patra,

 

A slower than normal resting heart rate if normal when sleeping, so I would not be too concerned that 54-60 bpm when sleeping diagnoses you as having bradycardia. However, it never hurts to discuss with your physician.
