Hi Sundae,
Benicar HCT can cause photosensitivity, which is a fancy way to say you are at a higher risk of getting a sunburn while taking this medication. If you plan on being out in the sun for prolonged periods of time, you should definately apply sun block to avoid burns and potential future skin damage.
