yoshe,   Thanks for your question.   Though your systolic is up a bit, your diastolic is fine.  Generally, this is not a level that requires emergency intervention unless you are having any symptoms of headache, dizziness, vision changes, or confusion.  Should any of these symptoms be present, then yes, you should go to the hospital.  If you do not have any of these complaints, then try to relax in a quiet, dark room, avoid tobacco, caffeine, and any excitement.  In the morning, call for an appointment with your physician to be seen as soon as possible to have your pressure checked by him/her.  He will ask some questions, examine you, and decide on the best course of action.    If you are already taking medication for high blood pressure and your readings have been high, let your doctor know about this, as a change in a dosage may be indicated, or a re-evaluation of your situation may be required.   Best wishes.   Martin Cane, M.D.
