Q: Weening myself off blood pressure medication

 I want to ween myself off my blood pressure medication(Quinipril) which is causing my hair to thin out and not allowing my hair to grow anymore, is there a natural remedy i can start to take in it's place.

Hi Egypt,

 

First, I highly recommend you consult your MD before weaning yourself off any medication. Discuss your concerns with Quinipril and see if there is an alternative you can take that does not have this side effect.

 

If you are still set on not taking medication, do so under your doctor's care. There are MD's that practice a more integrative approach of traditional medicine and alternative approaches (such as nutrition).

So, yes you do have options, but whatever you decide, involve your MD.
