Q: Can herbs really help HPB?

I am 33 yrs old, with an average BP around 150/96. This can go even higher under small amounts of stress/exercise. I really want to avoid traditional medications, and decided to give it a couple months to bring it down naturally with healthy eating, exercising, weight loss (which I'm overweight, but not obese) and herbs. I have seen several herbs help with BP, each in a different way. I was wondering if there were particular ones that help quickly, and if you can mix and match different herbs to cover all the bases?
