Q: I had a medula cervical stroke

I had a medula cervical stroke Jan 7. My right side specially my right arm is numb all the time. also have temp differance in both hands. i have pain in neck right side and in shoulder, what is this? cant find much on web. also what kind of exercises can i do, like lifting weights or playing softball could that injury my neck more. or have another stroke?

Hi Keith:

 

Honestly, I can't give you a good direct answer.  Every person is different, every stroke victim is different. Side effects of a stroke can stick around for a very long time. I think this is best for you to communicate with your doctor to see what recommendations he/she has pertaining to your situation and he/she can assess you neck pain also.
