Q: I took my blood pressure four straight times: 152/81; 114/72; 142/80; 122/78--Why the erratic readings that I've never had before? I've checked the monitor and it is OK.

Hi Charles,

It is normal for blood pressure to fluctuate throughout the day depending on activity, stress levels, etc. Since you are having readings greater than 140 systolic (top number), I recommend contacting your doctor to discuss.
