Q: my pressure was 218over122 a am 43 black with uncontrolled pressure can diet help.

I was told I have uncontrollable high pressure and put on meds I can not afford.  My eyes turn bloodshot and sometimes I have broke vessels in them,headaches and silver lines in front.  can diet alone help.help

Yes your lifestyle can make a huge difference in your blood pressure. The diet you eat, regular exercise, and not smoking are all huge in blood pressure control. In general they should be the first thing someone with high blood pressure goes to and the meds should be given to augment your healthy lifestyle.
