Hello angiepooh7   Yes your lifestyle can make a huge difference in your blood pressure. The diet you eat, regular exercise, and not smoking are all huge in blood pressure control. In general they should be the first thing someone with high blood pressure goes to and the meds should be given to augment your healthy lifestyle.   I hope this was helpful and sorry about the delay getting back to you...
