Q: my bp is 150/100 am i high blood?

Hi Bong,


Yes, a blood pressure of 150/100 is considered high blood pressure.  Normal blood pressure is less than 120/80.  Blood pressure between 120-139/80-89 is considered pre-hypertensive.  As LisaAbz recommended, speak with your MD to determine the best treatment option.  You can learn about steps to lower blood pressure here -

I would say so, but I would go to a doctor to see what they think.

If it is constantly running around this, you probably do.  I have had my

running 140/95 for at least 6 months and was put on blood pressure medicine just yesterday.  See a doctor.
