Blood pressure is very dynamic and is affected and influenced by many factors. Stress, fever, exercise, medication, and pain are common situations that can cause blood pressure to rise. In your situation, you have been experiencing significant pain that can certainly have an adverse effect on your pressure. And yes, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen can also cause your blood pressure to rise. It's tough to say which is the primary cause for you high readings, and most likely it's a combination of the two.
The effects of the ibuprofen are usually reversible, so be sure to monitor your pressure as you've recently increased your dose of anti-hypertensive medication, and you don't want your pressure to drop too low as the effects of the ibuprofen and your resolving pain dissipate.
