Hi MrFRank:

I am uncertain if it is your medication or not. I have seen reports of men that have used this hormone replacement therapy, testosterone, and report after starting the medication they saw an increase in their blood pressure as well as fluid retention.

I would visit with your doctor or pharmacist to get the most current information on this medication. If it is not listed under side effects, adverse reaction, or drug interaction, and you are still concerned, I would see if your doctor would allow you to stop the medication for a certain amount of time and then monitor your blood pressure to see if you notice a difference.  Please conact your doctor before you stop or change the dose of any medicine.

Best wishes,

Tara
