Q: When a person is taking Lasix in the AM (before 8:00AM), what time of day would be the best to consume a banana or other potassium rich foods that supplement the loss of postassium.
It shouldn't make a difference what time of day you consume foods high in potassium. Ideally you'd be eating nutrient (potassium) rich foods throughout the day, not just at one set time. However, discuss with your doctor or pharmacist to determine what is best for your treatment plan.
