Thought you might want to read about hyzaar and narvasc.  As well, our Lifestyle Changes section can offer other ways to possibly reduce and maintain your HBP.  Always check with your doctor before changing a prescribed treatment plan.

Thanks and hope this helps.  All the best, sue

Hi Goldbern44,

There are no known interactions between hyzaar and norvasc. I understand your concern that you don't want to be on 2 different medcations, however, studies have shown that patients usually respond better to using 2 medications at lower doses then using 1 medication at higher doses. The combination therapy helps to lower blood pressure and may avoid side effects (as compared to the medication at a higher dose). I would continue to exercise daily and maintain a healthy diet, as well and to continue the medications your doctor has prescribed for you.

Thanks for your question!

Jill
