Hi Goldbern44, There are no known interactions between hyzaar and norvasc. I understand your concern that you don't want to be on 2 different medcations, however, studies have shown that patients usually respond better to using 2 medications at lower doses then using 1 medication at higher doses. The combination therapy helps to lower blood pressure and may avoid side effects (as compared to the medication at a higher dose). I would continue to exercise daily and maintain a healthy diet, as well and to continue the medications your doctor has prescribed for you. Thanks for your question! Jill
