Q: my husband is 40 and his pulse rate is 120 , but he doesnt want to take medicine, dr

my husband is diabetic , his sugar is undercontrol by exercise and he alsowants to control his elevated pulse rate by exercise but i want him to give him the prescribed medicine CONCOR,can i give him concor disguising it in food , or mixing it in milk plz helpcan i give him concor in other way, by breaking concor into food or mix it with milk

Hi Onida,

 

I do not recommend you disguise his medication and give it to him without his knowledge/consent. I understand your concern and reasoning, but recommend you discuss it further with your husband and his physician. Maybe you can come to a compromise where he tries to control his elevated pulse rate through diet/exercise and if he's not successful within an agreed upon time he will begin the medication.
