Q: after eating i get cold and chills, then all of a sudden my blood pressure jumps high like 220/110 and pulse rate about 120?

i take synthroid, blood pressure medicine, and have severe acid reflux. but about once or twice a week my blood pressure jumps extremely high and my pulse rate beats so fast and hard i can feel it in my head. i then take nitro to bring my blood pressure down. this happens out of nowhere and i don't always eat the same foods when this happens. it takes about 2 nitros and about 45 minutes to get it to come down. sometimes i will take a couple of xanax too.
