Q: " My 11 yr old dau's bp has been high. what does this mean ?

We took my daughter in to see the dr last night, she said her ' chest hurt ' and then the pain went to her throat.. the dr said it was acid reflux.. but during that visit her bp was higher than what it should have been.. they did an ekg.. that was fine..  he looked through her records and noticed that every time she was seen by a dr her bp was high.  He said that it could just be her nerves to make it  higher.. Is this normal?  Please help.
