Q: Hi I'm 46 year old healthy woman. I've been monitoring my BP for over 1 year now. I find my BP goes quite low. Normal is 96SYS 64DIA 70HB but it goes much much lower. How can I help it?

I drink lots of water, a little coffee, I don't take in much salt at all. I eat lots of veggies and good food. Don't drink pop, or eat junk food (rare). I drink maybe 2 glasses of wine every 2 weeks. One big problem is I don't get much sleep and even that is interrupted. Oh when I mean low that is 90/38 with 80HB.  I had that taken at the grocery store this has happened often enough.  I have had a mini stroke though I forgot to mention that.  My mom had a stroke when she was only 35 (so I guess there is some history of that.

I recommend contacting your physician to have your blood pressure checked in office, discuss any symptoms you may be having, and determine if treatment is warranted.
