Q: For the last few days I have been having sudden panic attacks and my blood pressure is usually 130/90 but my pulse rate hovers around 60.

I am a 40yo female; 5'8" and 300 lbs. I have a long history of panic disorder, PTSD, and migraines. Because of my weight, I have been taking beta blockers for the past few years to control my blood pressure and migraines. I am just starting to exercise (walk) and eating carefully. I'm taking a Xanax every day but nothing seems to help my panic attacks. I have an appointment with my doctor scheduled for three weeks from now but wondering if this could be something more serious and maybe I should see her sooner. I'm also a hypochondriac so I'm not sure.
