Q: Problem with high blood pressure

I have problems with high blood pressure. Monday 6/15/09 I got up with a horrible headache and went on to work, when I got there I checked my blood pressure and it was 178/97. I was able to take aspirin 350mg to make it come down. I still have a bad headache and just do not feel like doing anything at all. Can someone give me some advice as to what might me going on?

I am suppose to take medicine for my high blood pressure but cannot afford to pay dr, and then turn around and buy medicine too.

Hi Lluvrsp,

I strongly encourage you to contact your physician and discuss your options and financial situation.  If you do not treat your high blood pressure, your health situation will not improve.  Your pharmacist or local health department may be able to provide options to help reduce medical and medication costs.

All the best,
