High Blood Pressure and Edema

I had an adrenal gland tumor which was removed last year, I also have HBP, with an injury to my leg where my circulation was cut off temporarily, how serious can these issues play on each other. I also have edema in both legs with the rash that people have spoken of here.play on each other.

I'm a 62 year old, white male (retired Army) Diagnosed years ago with Acid Reflux, been on nearly everything... now with Prilosec... have "White Coat Hypertension" now on "Atacand" for high BP (long story). Recently diagnosed with High Cholesterol... Have to go to an Urologist for urinary urgency problems, when I get back home, and now I read, I've been having some "periferal edema" symptoms as well. I don't go around looking for things to make me sick... but all this STUFF has arisen in the past year. My diet is pretty much the same for years... anything that's there. Never had a weight problem... until I quit smoking in 1987. Turned 50, Gainned 50 lbs, nearly overnight, and still have that 50 lbs. But now all this stuff is ganging up on me. Guess I'll have to go on a "See Food Diet?" Everything I can "see" is off limits? Or like my wife (for the past 40 years) says... if it tastes good it's a NO-NO!
