Q: taking both niaspan and lisinopril at bedtime. Have insomnia terribly.

When I try to take something for the insomnia like Benadryl, it makes my legs ache and cramp.  I need help!

Hi Joe,

 

I recommend discussing your insomnia with your physician.  You can work together to see if changing the time of day you take your medications reduces your sleeping issues or possibly discuss other alternatives.
