Q: Is this drug safe to take to treat hormonal acne

My dermatologist prescribed spironolactone to me to treat what she calls hormonal acne. I have no high blood pressure issues.  This medicine makes me sick to my stomach on occaission and I have also had a few bouts with vomiting and diareah. The acne is clearing up but isn't there something else I can take to clear it that doesn't make me nautious on a somewhat regular basis??
