Q: Can taking Phergan/Codeine and having a UTI cause BP to Rise? Please Ans

I originally went to the Doctor for Pain in my upper back. I was putting the Christmas stuff away and had to push boxes underneath other boxes. The Dr went by what I said

He asked me if I was coughing and I said yes. He gave me Phenergan with Codeine. He did blood tests also

I saw him ten days later for my yearly exam. He told me I could stop the Phenergan since I was feeling so much better. He said my BP was high and my cholesterol was also.

He took a urine sample while I was there. He does the test right there. He said I have an infection. Now I had no symptoms of a UTI. I never do when I get them.So I don't know how long I had it.That's why I was wondering if the Phergan/Codeine and having a UTI cause BP to Rise?
